Old Trail Town

Twenty seven historic buildings have been moved to this location to form a town street. Most of the buildings are log, built in the late 1800s. Three have a connection to the Hole in the Wall gang of bank robbers. The buildings are furnished with period items and two have museum exhibits. There are also many wagons lining the street and in a barn.

All of the buildings have a step up from the boardwalk which is unfortunate because the site would be very accessible if the boardwalk had been built level with the doorways of the buildings. As it is some of the thresholds are so high that it's difficult to enter the buildings even with assistance. The boardwalk does not connect the two sides of the street and the crossing path has very bumpy stone slabs. The path leading to five grave sites is loose gravel and difficult to roll along.

Small RVs will fit in the main parking lot. Larger RVs can be parking in the lot on the opposite side of Demaris Drive. The gravel in the lot is loose so park as close to the street as possible. Town  44.5153, -109.10321
