The market features handmade items only. Pottery, photographs, paintings, food, and other artistic creations are on display in the Ajo Plaza every Saturday from October to March and every second Saturday of the month from April to September. There weren't a lot of booths when we visited probably because of the cool weather. Our friend, whom we were visiting, bought some delicious brownies to share with us.
The sidewalks and curb cuts in the plaza area are in good condition.
Most of the stores have accessible entrances. Missing curb cuts, lack of
sidewalks, and other obstacles in the rest of the town may cause
difficulties for visitors with mobility issues.
RVs can be parked on North Plaza Street, south of the plaza. Mercado 32.37305, -112.86187
