The campground is in the Montour Wildlife Management Area which is jointly managed by the Idaho Fish and Game and the federal Bureau of Reclamation. Both of these organizations allow dispersed camping on the lands they manage as long as there aren't signs forbidding it however this inexpensive campground with abundant shade trees is a welcome alternative to dispersed camping. There are only 16 sites with amenities that include picnic tables, fire rings, grills, vault toilets, fresh water and a dump station. Two of the sites are designated as accessible. The one that we camped in has a wide paved parking pad and asphalt under the table and fire ring. A paved path continues to the pay kiosk and the toilets. The sites are long enough for most RVs.
