Museum of Everyday Life

The museum challenges us to see items that we use every day in a different light by studying their origins and the history of their use. The exhibits are a mishmash of various things - some very ordinary, others quite unusual. A couple of the more interesting things are the roller coaster and the violin, complete with case case, all made of matchsticks.
The museum is unmanned and open every day from 8-8. A new addition with changing exhibits is located down the hill in what was a dairy barn. "Coming Clean" was the featured exhibit when we visited.
The museum has a rough concrete ramp to bridge the uneven meeting of the ground and building floor. The new addition is down a very steep, grassy hill.

Parking is limited to a few spaces.  RVs must be parked along the side of the road to avoid blocking all access to the spaces and pull through driveway.  Museum  44.64097, -72.20568
