Happy Hill Maple Farms

Happy Hills is a family run business with 400 acres of land and 21,000 maple trees that are tapped each year to make maple syrup, cream, candy, and sugar. They make a lot of maple syrup!

This is a Harvest Hosts site and the Johnson's have made a really nice camping spot along the little stream that flows through their property. We stayed in the large gravel lot in front of the equipment shed because rain was forecast and we didn't want to tear up the grass if the ground got saturated.

The gift shop (located on the opposite side of the road from the house and shed) does not have regular hours but Michael Johnson came out to greet us and gave us a quick tour of the sugar operation which is located in the same building as the gift shop. We bought a jug of maple syrup. Farm  44.53909, -72.05713

  1. How nice! Who doesn't love maple syrup? This looks like a real winner to us! Thanks for keeping us informed!
