That NW Bus

The 1955 school bus, originally owned by the Toppenish School District, somehow ended up on public land near Palouse Falls. In 2017 the Washington Department of Natural Resources became concerned about liability issues and wanted it gone. That's when the tiny town of Washtucna, Washington stepped in with an offer of donated land and plans to make the bus the centerpiece of an art park that would be landscaped with native plants. That hasn't happened yet but the bus is a popular stop for photographers and graffiti artists. Not really artists - most of it's just graffiti. :-D
The ground is hard packed so rolling is fairly easy. The bus can be viewed without leaving your vehicle.

The parking area is large enough for any RV.  Bus  46.7589, -118.3056

  1. Oh, I dunno. Only if it's on the way to wherever we're going!
