Zippo/Case Museum
If there’s anything that you wanted to know about Zippo lighters you’ll find it in this museum. More than 500 million lighters have been manufactured since the first one was made by George G. Blaisdell in 1933. Zippos are still made in the US and they’re still all metal with a lifetime guarantee. Several dozen mangled lighters that have been run over, fallen into grinders, or been smashed in presses are on display. Lighters with milder damage are repaired and returned to the owners. From the beginning the lighters have been customized and special editions have been made so many are tiny pieces of art.
The museum is accessible.
Small RVs will fit in the lot backed up over the grass. There’s one long space for buses or RVs along the street right before the entrance to the parking lot. Museum
