Little Rock City
Rock City is part of a large slab of conglomerate. Years of weathering and shifting have broken the slab into huge square blocks with paths between making the area resemble a city with streets. Some of the blocks are 12’ high.
We didn’t expect Rock City to be accessible but we thought we could at least get some photographs at the base and maybe follow the trail for a short distance. Unfortunately the trail starts at the top of the rocks and the way down is steep and rocky so it’s completely inaccessible.
Rock City is 5 miles off of Route 353. About 2.5 miles is gravel. Most RVs will have no trouble traveling along the road which dead ends in a loop but on weekends there may be no place to park. Free, walk in, tent only campsites are located around the loop. Camp Seneca which is farther along Hungry Hollow Road is large enough for RVs but it’s sloped so getting level is tricky. Park
