Lemhi County Historical Museum

Along with all of the usual donated items from local people, this museum has a nice display of Lemhi Shoshoni artifacts plus a collection of Chinese, Japanese, and Tibetan items given to the museum by Ray Edwards, the son of early pioneers. Other displays cover ranching, mining, logging, Chinese settlers, and pioneer life. I liked the early 911 system. :-)
The museum is accessible except for one tight area between display cases and a group of photos on panels to flip through that can’t be reached from a seated position.

A large parking lot is located across the street. The curb cuts and sidewalks are in good condition. Museum  45.17669, -113.8964
