Update 2022 - the bridges have been upgraded so exiting onto Main Street from I-59 and then going east on Main Street is fine. The casino information is still good.
If you’re driving a RV do not follow the posted route from I-59 to this casino. There are several bridges with a 5 ton weight limit and no place to turn around. Instead drive north on US 11 through Sanderville, turn right or east on Florence Church Road, right or south on Ned Dillard Road and right or southwest on Choctaw Road. Turn right into the casino and follow the truck parking signs to the gravel lot. If the casino isn’t busy and you have a small RV you can park on the paved section. There’s a side entrance with push button automatic doors fairly close.
This casino is not very good for people using wheelchairs. Many of the machines have money and card slots that are high and hard to reach. The chairs aren’t heavy but they catch on the carpeting and are hard to move. This is a newer casino and an expansion is in the plans but for now there’s just a fast food type restaurant (We ate there. It was actually pretty good.) and no alcohol. Many people smoke and the ventilation system doesn’t do a good job of clearing the air. Casino

I keep forgetting how much those big motorhomes weight! My rigs so small that I've never had to worry about 10-ton limited bridges as I only weigh roughly 5 tons :).
ReplyDeleteOopps - I put the wrong tonnage on the blog. It's 5 tons! Gonna fix it. Anyway we're over that by a couple of tons. We didn't see the little signs until it was too late so we sailed right across. Fortunately they held but we went out by the other route.
ReplyDeleteDid you get any of that snow?
Smatterings, I have a blog entry on the last sustained snow, it took out my screen patio room.
ReplyDeleteHopefully after this weekend if I can get it done in a timely fashion, I won't have to worry about it anymore as I'll have a little garage/storage spot in the barn where I can stow my stuff and the screen room can come down (though I will miss it during the summer).
