Sac City Riverside Campground

The campsites are all grouped together at the south end of the park. The layout is a little confusing because some of the sites share long parking pads and the numbered posts and electric hookups are haphazardly located. A good number of the sites were occupied during our stay but there were still plenty of open sites. Amenities include water and electric hookups, dump station, restrooms, showers, tables, and playgrounds. Pay at the information board.

The ground is hard packed so rolling is fairly easy.

The sites are long enough for any RV. After turning off of Main Street onto Park Ave. take either of the dirt roads to the campground. Campground  42.41868, -94.9863

  1. Nice park! Everything is so green, too. My aunt (my dad's sister) and uncle lived in Sac City all their adult lives and brought up their two daughters there. I was there once so long ago that I don't recall a thing about it! (probably won't go back, either, but thanks for the post!) :-)

    1. It's a tiny town. Seems pretty nice but there's not a lot to do in rural Iowa.
