Winslow Park Campground

 

The campground has 102 sites. Twenty three are on the waterfront so naturally they are the most popular and must be reserved well ahead of time. Another row of sites is lined up behind the waterfront sites and are all fairly level. The rest of the sites are randomly placed wherever they can be fit in. Some are out in the open and other are in the tree cover. Most are roomy but study the map and the photos before making a choice. I was looking for a level site without any too close neighbors and site 83 was perfect.

Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, restrooms, showers, waking trails, a playground, a beach, and a boat ramp. There are no hookups but there is fresh water and a dump station.

Only one site is designated as accessible. We did not check it out but many of the other sites are usable. I doubt that the trails are accessible but the park road - 1/2 mile one way - would make a nice walk/roll. Park  43.8034, -70.11386
