Rohrbach's Farm Market

In 1955 George and Carl Rohrbach opened a self-service roadside stand selling apples, cider, eggs and potatoes from the family farm. The farm market is now run by the 4th generation of Rohrbachs and has come a long way from that little roadside stand. It's located in a large building that was once a dairy barn. Fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, ice cream, wine, gourmet foods, a deli, and gift shop are on the ground floor.  Big Dan's BBQ is on the second floor. It appears to be very popular but is only open until 7:00 so get there early if you want BBQ!

This is a Harvest Hosts site with a great parking spot across the street from the market - look for the sign.  The parking area is large and fairly level with room to angle an RV to get the best view. The quiet roads between the fields are nice for an evening stroll. The main road, Route 487, is busy so expect traffic noise which dies down at night.

We did not receive a response to our request but were greeted very warmly when we arrived and were made to feel completely welcome. We bought a box of cherries and a huge jar of local honey.

The market is accessible. We were told that an outside ramp at the rear of the building provides access to the Big Dan's but we did not check it out. Market  40.92789, -76.46017
