Weatherwax Trail

  This little pocket of old growth forest and rare mature forested wetlands in the middle of the Ocean Shore community was saved by concerned residents who convinced the city to purchase the property and then voted to keep it undeveloped. A 1.2 mile loop trail circles through the property.

   The trail is not accessible due to large roots and steep, narrow sections.

  Cars may be parked along the road. There’s a large paved lot north on Overlake Street where RVs will fit. Trail  46.98412, -124.14938
