Swamp Gardens
Swamp Gardens must have been a real roadside attraction at one time with boardwalks, alligators and depictions of life in the swamps. Now it’s a very tiny but pretty park with an accessible paved path winding around the bald cypress trees. We stopped here to use the free dump station and to fill our fresh water and discovered the park-not something to go out of your way for but a nice place to stroll through after getting the dirty work done. :-D
The dump station is big rig friendly.

Did not visit Louisiana yet, but it is on our list, I think we will have to change seasons to do it.

Yes, you do want to visit some of the US in the winter. Much, much more enjoyable :-)
