Marconi NHS

m
In 1902, the first official wireless message was sent from Nova Scotia across the Atlantic Ocean to England. Guglielmo Marconi was only twenty years old when his first successful experiment with wireless telegraphy caused a bell to ring by pushing a telegraphic button on the other side of the room. Only eight years later he was sending signals more than 2000 miles.

The small museum has exhibits and a short film. A very short paved trail leads to the site of the original transmission station.

The museum and the trail are accessible.

The parking lot is small but RVs should be able to be parked along the street.  Museum
