Mary E. Theler Wetlands Nature Preserve

Four miles of trails wander through the wetlands which encompasses a variety of ecosystems from tidal marsh to a small stand of cedar trees. From the parking lot the trail switchbacks down a hill but the rest of the trail system is level. The trails are either boardwalk or are surfaced with finely crushed stone. All of the trails are accessible.

If you visit in the late summer bring a container for fruit picking – plums, apples (small but good), blackberries and rosehips can all be gathered along the trails.

The Theler Community Center parking lot has long bus/RV spaces.
