Wanapum Vista Overlook-Wild Horses Monument

031
Drive up the hill for a great view of the Columbia River, the Vantage Bridge, and the horses. David Govedare created the sculpture of horses prancing along the ridge above the parking lot. If you’re capable of scrambling up a steep hill you can climb to the top.

The parking lot is large enough for any RV. It may be closed in the winter. We didn’t stay here but it looks like a great place to spend the night. Monument
