Intel which was founded in 1968 makes the microprocessors used in most personal computers. They also manufacture motherboard chipsets, network interface controllers and integrated circuits, flash memory, graphics chips, embedded processors and other devices. If you understand what all of those are you’ll probably find this museum fascinating but it was a bit too techy for us. The museum covers the history of the Intel Corporation and the development of microchips. Less technical exhibits feature interviews with the technicians who work in the fabrication rooms and a chance to suit-up in a clean room “bunny suit”.
The museum is accessible.
The parking lot is small. We fit but it’s really not large enough for RVs. Museum 37.38789, -121.9626
