This site is no longer open for camping.
Drive southwest on Main Street to the Tuscarawas River. The road ends in a loop with a boat ramp and parking on the grass. The town website says the fee is $5.00 per group plus $1.00 per person but there isn’t a collection box or any instructions at the site. A local man told us that he had never seen anyone collecting the fee. We didn’t stay so we don’t have any personal experience.
The camp area is pretty with a nice river view and large shade trees. Town is within easy walking distance. Stays are limited to two nights.
Due to very uneven ground and many trees visitors with large RVs should not attempt to camp here.
