This is a small campground that appears to get little use. Half of the sites are small and sloped with trees that have low hanging branches. The other half are fairly large and level without any obstacles. The sites are close together without vegetation for privacy. Amenities include a playground and volley ball court. The campground sits on the lake edge but none of the sites have a view or access to the water.
Three of the sites near the restroom have gravel parking pads and gravel around the accessible tables. The parking pads and table areas are bordered with railroad ties. The pads are very narrow so it’s impossible for a wheelchair to past by a parked RV to gain access to the roadway. Site 15, closest to the restroom, is marked as accessible and has electricity for people who need it for medical support devices such as sleep apnea machines or wheelchair batteries. Campground
Oh! You're on the move! Happy trails!
ReplyDeleteYes! We had so much fun visiting everyone but it's nice to be back on the road.
DeleteWe're halfway across Ohio. Is Route 66 still in your plans? Hope to see you on there!
Yup! I'll catch 66 in Springfield, IL. I expect it to be in that neck of the woods toward the end of October.
ReplyDeleteWe should hit Springfield IL in early October. If we stick to our usual 50 - 100 miles a day you'll catch up to us somewhere down the road. :-)
