Boulder History Museum
Unfortunately we didn’t learn much about Boulder because the main exhibits are all on the second floor accessed by a long flight of steps. There is good news though. In the next few years the museum will move in the old Masonic Lodge building which will be completely accessible.
The first floor of museum is accessible but you may have to call ahead to get the rear door unlocked. There’s a ramp at the rear entrance. Be cautious when exiting the museum because the entranceway is a small room with two doors. The interior door may lock when it’s closed and then there’s not enough room to open the exterior door which opens inward.
Parking is very limited. The parking lot is not wide enough for anything but a van or very small RV. The museum is located in a residential neighborhood and most of the on street parking requires a permit. Museum
