Border-to-Border Trail
We started on the trail at Bandemer Park and followed it south for about 1 1/2 miles. Eventually the trail, which has three disconnected segments, will stretch across Washtenaw County from border to border - about 25 continuous miles. The section we chose is in fairly good condition with some heaving of the asphalt. It travels along a popular tubing area.
Smaller RVs will fit in the lot at Bandemer Park. The lot is accessed by a single lane wooden bridge that looks narrower than it is. There’s another parking lot before the bridge and also parking lots at other points along the trail.

Good to see you two are still traveling along :). I dropped off the face of the earth in terms of reading for a while on all my blogs, seeing all the wonderful places and not being ready to travel yet, three years into rebuilding my rig was just too painful :p.
ReplyDeleteHi Matt! I've missed your blog posts. How is the camper coming along? We need an update! :-)
DeleteIt's going, there's five or so new chapters up already :). They're likely not showing up in the feed because some of them are set to the date when the photos were originally taken, which sets them to last year.
DeleteOkay.I'll go look for them.:-)
DeleteDoncha wonder how long it'll take the powers-that-be to finish the 25 miles? I hope they can finish it soon. Wow, that's a lot of tubers on the river!
ReplyDeleteThey were having fun! It looked like a great tubing spot.
