Fulltiming Milestones

035

March 2015 marks the 5th year that we’ve been RVing in this motorhome and the 23rd year that we’ve been fulltiming. We still love all of it - the new experiences and sights along the road, the chance to learn something everyday, the great people that we meet and most all the visits with our families and friends.

For the last two weeks we’ve been staying at one of our favorite campgrounds, Las Vegas Bay, at Lake Mead NRA. We’ve gone over every inch of the motorhome - washed, waxed, painted, varnished and repaired. It sure doesn’t look like it’s five years old!

  2. Wow, that picture makes it look like your RV is brand new again! We will be in Cal in mid-April through mid-May before we head to Alaska. Perhaps our paths might cross this time as it almost did last year while you were in Florida but caught us headed to get our replacement RV from the fire (which happened just about a year ago now). --Dave (GoingRvWay.com)

    1. It would be great if our paths crossed! We'll be slowly meandering north to Seattle but we don't have a route planned out. We'll be going day by day with whatever strikes our fancy so keep in touch. :-)

    1. Thanks! It is a beautiful campsite. I've been enjoying your posts on Arizona and Vegas. Seems like we were hitting a lot of the same places, just at a slightly different time.

  8. Hey, very nice site. I came across this on Google, and I am stoked that I did. I will definitely be

coming back here more often. Wish I could add to the conversation and bring a bit more to the table,

but am just taking in as much info as I can at the moment. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Thank you. You're doing great job on your blog. It kind of takes awhile to decide how you want it to look but the most important thing is that you're keeping a record of your trips. It really helps when you're planning the next one.

    1. Thank you very much for commenting. I'm so sorry about your husband. He was too young. I'm very fortunate that Tony is willing and able to travel and help me when I need it.

I hope your move goes well. Tennessee is a beautiful state. Please feel free to comment and ask questions anytime.

    1. Thanks Nelda! We really enjoying seeing you guys at the RTR! We'd love to get together again. We should be coming through Oregon in May or June, depending on how slowly we travel. Let us know if you'll be taking any trips and we'll meet you or we'll stop by your house if you're staying home.
