University of Wyoming Art Museum

The museum is fairly small and features thought provoking exhibits that change on a regular basis. The most interesting exhibit on our visit was Divine Ammunition: The Work of Al Farrow. The artist has made exquisite models of religious buildings using guns, bullets, shot, and other found objects to convey the relationship between religion and conflict.

   The museum is accessible.

The parking lot is large enough for RVs if parked across the spaces. The building also houses the American Heritage Center which preserves books, papers, and artifacts pertaining to the history of Wyoming. The Center is opened to the general public for research purposes. Visitors to the Center and museum must sign in at the front desk to avoid receiving a parking ticket.
