Rotary Ann Rest Area and Overlook

IMG_2114

Rotary Ann is a nickname used by the women’s auxiliary of the Rotary Club until the 1980s. Seeing the need for a rest stop along Hwy 7, they worked together with the highway and national forest departments to get the rest area built - the first in Arkansas.

The rest area has restrooms, picnic tables, viewing platforms, and interpretive signs. The restrooms, tables, and platforms are accessible but one of the sign is blocked by the railing.

The parking is parallel to the road with plenty of room for RVs.  Overlook   35.669, -93.09873
