Cirque du Soliel Mystere

Mystere, the original Cirque du Soliel show, has been performing at the Treasure Island Casino since 1993. Since we’ve never seen a Cirque du Soliel show this one seemed to be the best choice from the eight  possibilities. We weren’t disappointed! The show is an amazing display of acrobatics and strength with a bit of comedy between set changes.

We’ve found that it’s easier to go directly to the show box office to buy tickets for wheelchair accessible seating rather than trying to figure out ticketing and pricing on the internet.  Wheelchair seating is often limited to one area of the theater which means that no matter what ticket price level you chose you will be seated in the only available seating. This is exactly what happened at Mystere. We bought the least expensive seats but were seated in the most expensive section - the worst seats in the best section but still very good seats - eight rows from the stage and bit off center.

  1. The best of the worst, huh? Actually sounds great! I've never seen a Cirque du Soliel show, but I've always wanted to. Maybe next time we're in Las Vegas we'll go, even if tickets are expensive. Thanks for the update.

    1. :-D No, the WORST of the BEST :-D
      They were very good seats!

This must be a slow time in Vegas, after all of the holidays and before spring break, because on top of getting good seats for a cheap price there was also a 35% off deal. The total for our two tickets with all of the added fees was only $123.00!

  2. We did the same when in Vegas and enjoyed the show as you did.
Take a look at our 2016 summer RV paln, isn't time we meet in person??

    1. Yes, I've been thinking that too! You have a great trip planned this year. We're still very up in the air about where we'll be going this summer. We have tickets to Saguaro Man which is taking place at the end of April. It's a regional Burning Man gathering, much smaller than Burning Man but since there's no chance of us ever going to Burning Man (too hot, too dusty) it'll be a fun experience.

After that we're not sure where we'll be but I'll definitely keep up with your trip posts and maybe sometime this summer we'll in the same area at the same time!
