Jamestown Riverwalk

As the riverwalk travels past businesses and industrial areas it's neither long or scenic but we have a hard time passing up a paved trail. The wild flowers are nice and it's supposed to be a good birding area.

We accessed the trail from a large parking lot with a drug store, a medical center, and a closed business. The trail goes two directions from the lot. The east leg travels about 1/3 mile before ending. The west leg makes a 3/4 mile loop by crossing the river on a pedestrian bridge and traveling east on the other side where it crosses the river again on the Main Street vehicle bridge sidewalk. The trail is in good condition and accessible with a slightly steep ramp to the pedestrian bridge.
