Martin State Forest was established in 1932 to restore eroding, abandoned farmland and heavily cut-over woodland. It’s now a healthy forest with three fishing ponds, picnic areas, and a 26-site, primitive campground with vault toilets and potable water. The campsites have fire rings and picnic tables.
None of the sites are designated as accessible but site 8 has a paved parking pad and sites 22 and 25 have large, fairly level gravel parking pads. Two of the vault toilets are accessible.
One site is pull through and many of the sites are long enough for any RV. Campground 38.69924, -86.72405
How were the mosquitoes?
ReplyDeleteThe campground sits on the flat top of a hill so there isn't any type of water nearby. No mosquitoes that I noticed. I rolled from one end of the campground to the other and ran into some annoying gnats near the turn around at the end that weren't where we were camped close to the entrance.
