Fourteen campsites long enough to accommodate horse and OHV trailers are strung out along a small loop road. Amenities include tables, fire rings, lantern posts, electric hookups, an accessible vault toilet, potable water, a covered picnic shelter and a grill. Thirty six miles of multi-use trails can be accessed from the campground.
The camping fee is a super bargain right now at only $3.00 at night ( $1.50 with an senior or access pass) but it’s due to raise to $20.00 in early 2019.
Five sites are designated as accessible on the campground map but there isn’t much of a difference between them and the other sites. They’re large, fairly level, and surfaced with large gravel which makes rolling around difficult. They’re also located uphill from the toilet with the rocky road as the only pathway.
