Tacoma Art Museum
The museum focuses on art and artists from the west, in particular the northwest, however an outstanding collection of southwestern art has been donated – so many pieces that a new wing was built to showcase them. Other collections include glass art, prints, photographs, and European art. Pieces are rotated in the galleries so there is always something new to see.
The museum is accessible.
A small parking lot is located in the rear of the museum. Most RVs will not fit in the lot. We parked in a lot on Dock Street about five blocks north of the Museum of Glass. It’s about 1/2 mile to the art museum from this lot. The sidewalks and curb cuts are in good condition. Museum
