We wanted to visit the museum but found that it’s closed on Mondays. :-( However we spotted this little trail so off we went. The trail travels for about a mile though a ribbon of woods between the railroad tracks and residential streets.
The trail starts as gravel but soon become hard parked dirt. There’s a steep hill that can be avoided by going right at the Y and traveling along the street until the next access point. After a mile the trail continues down a flight of steps into a glen so we couldn’t explore the last section.
RVs can be parked at the museum when it’s closed or across the street at the old railroad station lot. Trail 49.35008, -124.44776
The trail looks very serene.
ReplyDeleteIt is! Kind of unusual for a trail so close to a road.
