Big Eddy Campground
This five site campground sits on a hill above Cabinet Gorge Reservoir, a large lake that is popular with local fishermen. The lake is pretty but the campsites do not have views.
None of the sites is marked as accessible but most are useable.
The campground loop road has a few tight turns. The sites are large enough for 30’ RVs. Campground 48.06661, -115.92437

I hope the weather is nice in Montana (one of my favorite states!).
ReplyDeleteI'm posting a little out of order. This campground post got skipped in the excitement of the eclipse.
DeleteWe went through Montana on our way to our eclipse boondocking spot in Idaho. The weather was pretty nice but the entire Bitteroot Valley south of Missoula was hazy with forest fire smoke. We could see a huge cloud of smoke from the Lolo Peak fire on the other side of the mountain. Scary seeing all of that smoke.
