Scenic Picnic Area

Parking overnight may not be permitted here but since there are no signs prohibiting it we decided to take a chance. Another option is the interstate rest area that's less than a mile south. The picnic area has tables, porta-potties, and trees for shade plus a huge parking lot. Very few people use the lot. Route 135 runs parallel to the lot so it's a bit noisy until traffic dies down at night. We spend a relaxing afternoon and a peaceful night. 

One of the tables is close to the pavement so just a short trip over the grass is needed.  44.33304, -71.87392
