Willapa Interpretive Art Trail

Willapa National Wildlife Refuge is one of the largest and most pristine estuaries in the US. It’s divided into six units. The largest unit is Long Island which in only accessible by boat and protects an old growth lowland coastal forest that is home to black bear, Roosevelt elk, black‑tailed deer, beaver, and river otter.

The Art Trail is located at the refuge headquarters, one of the smallest sections of the refuge. The trail is only 1.4 miles roundtrip and the accessible part is only 1/4 mile. It’s still a nice, short stop if you are passing by on US 101.

The parking lot is large enough for any RV. Trail  46.41452, -123.93431
