While visiting my sister and her family in Arlington, Virginia we were looking for something to do that didn’t involve driving into DC and decided to try the Inventors Hall of Fame which is located in the US Patent Office. It’s free but also fairly small and while some of the exhibits are very interesting it’s not something to go out of your way to see.
Exhibits include a colorful hands-on section for kids, a 1965 Ford Mustang merged with a 2015 Ford Mustang to show the changes in technology, a timeline of the advances in phone technology, and displays of authentic consumer products versus counterfeit goods to highlight the need for trademarks and patents.
The museum is accessible. After entering the museum take the elevator to the next level. The museum is catty-corner from the elevator.
RVs can be parked on Hooffs Run Drive – 2 hour limit payable by cash, credit card, or phone app. Spaces are not marked so the fee is the same for any length of vehicle. Hall of Fame 38.80091, -77.06382
