Virginia Living Museum
The fish, small animals, and reptiles of Virginia’s different geographic regions are on display in very well maintained aquariums and conservatories. A boardwalk outside winds through the woods and wetlands where visitors can look down to see native animals in natural surroundings. The museum is on the small side but the displays are informative and interesting.
Everything on the inside portion of the museum is accessible. Some of the doors are very heavy and it’s a little hard to push along the carpeted floor. The boardwalk is accessible but the top of the railing is at eye level for wheelchair visitors which makes it difficult to see the animals.
The parking lot has spaces that are long enough for RVs to pull through and use two spaces. There’s also a lot for buses. Museum
