Newport News City Park
This is a great place to stay while visiting the historic sites around Williamsburg/Jamestown/Yorktown. It’s opened all year which is a big benefit for winter travelers. The sites have electric and water hookups and a fair amount of space between them. Since the park is close to I-65 there’s always some traffic noise.
We didn’t stay in an accessible site but most of the sites are good with paved parking pads and hard packed dirt around tables and fire rings. The tables have short overhangs on the ends.
Most of the sites are large enough for any RV. Park
