This is a great boondocking spot on top of Grand Mesa near a little lake. There are only two or three spots that are level enough for camping. The access road, Old Grand Mesa Road/Forest Road 123, is three miles uphill, gravel in good condition. Any RV should be able to fit in the sites but they’re a little rough with potholes and dips where they meet the main road. The temperature averages at least 20 degrees less than the temperature of the cities in the western valley. Camping
