The parking lot has spaces long enough for any vehicle. We tried to get to the museum and center by going to Chris Larsen City Park but found the road going west to the museum gated off. I don't know if this is a permanent closure but parking at Chris Larsen Park and walking about a mile along the paved paths to the museum is an option. Museum 42.49136, -96.41753

Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center
The interpretive center is on the opposite side of the parking lot from the Sergeant Floyd River Museum. We've been to many Lewis and Clark museums and learn something new from each one. This one focuses on the people of the expedition with a short video and exhibits featuring animatronic figures who describe their experiences. Don't miss the art gallery and the exhibits along “The Crossroads” hallway which connects the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center and the Betty Strong Encounter Center. The Encounter Center hosts free programs throughout the year. The River Museum, the Lewis and Clark Center, and the Betty Strong exhibits can all be seen in a few hours. There are paved walking paths along the riverfront if you have more time. Everything is accessible.
