Visitors can push buttons and pull cords to operate many of the exhibits in this museum. Some are coin operated but most are free and include small engines, carnival dioramas, washing machines, and all types of music machines. The displays are very nicely arranged with a large variety of artifacts including some unusual ones.
The museum fills four buildings. Some of the doors are heavy but the buildings themselves are accessible. A small lift provides access to the second floors of two buildings. The locomotive and train cars are not accessible.
