If you miss the Kinetic Grand Championship Race you can still see some of the creations and learn a bit of the history at the Kinetic Museum. The original sculpture built by Hobart Brown is on display along with some of the successes and failures from earlier races. There’s also a cool Strandbeest built by Adam Savage of Mythbusters.
The museum is accessible.
Parking is available on the street. If you have time take a stroll around downtown Eureka to see some of the many murals. The sidewalks and curb cuts are in good condition.
