Searchlight, Nevada’s gold boom lasted from 1907 to 1910. Besides the $7 million in gold pulled from the hills Searchlight is also known for it’s famous citizens which includes Senator Harry Reid and Hollywood costume designer Edith Head. This very tiny but nicely done museum covers the history of the town and the lives of it’s noted personalities.
Everything is accessible.
The parking lot is large enough for any RV.
