ReCreation Land Bicentennial Camp Site
60,000 acres of former strip mined land has been contoured and planted with grasses and trees to make a wildlife habitat suitable for fishing, hunting, camping, and other outdoor activities. Six campgrounds with picnic tables, fresh water, fire rings, and vault toilets are located near little lakes and streams.
Everything is free to the public but a permit must be downloaded and displayed while camping. We were not able to get any cell signal at the campground so download the permit form before traveling to the area.
Nothing has been specially designed to be accessible but most of the campsites are usable. Campground
