Rolling Hills Adventure Center
The admission fee is for both the museum and zoo. The museum walkway travels through seven regions of the world represented with mounted animals in very realistic scenes. It’s extremely well done. We were told that most of the animals died naturally but I don’t know if that’s true. Several areas have talking “people” who tell short stories about their region.
Most of the animals in the zoo have large enclosures with room to roam except for the cats who look like a little cramped.
The museum and the zoo are accessible. Some of the doors are a little heavy. The two layers of fencing plus a board at the top make it difficult to view some of the animals. The walkway are smooth asphalt but not completely level. The slight slope can be tiring for wheelchair users who don’t have help pushing.
The parking lot is large enough for any RV. Center
