Coors Brewery Tour
The Golden, Colorado brewery, started by Adolph Coors in 1873, is the largest single brewery in the world. The tours are self guided and start from the bus stop at visitor parking lot on the corner of 13th & Ford Street. Weekends may be very busy with waits of over an hour. The tour doesn’t cover very much of the brewery but there are generous free samples at the end.
While able-bodied visitors must take the bus to the brewery, disabled visitors have some options. They may take the bus but they may also drive their own car and park close to the entrance or even walk/roll over. It’s not far from the lot and the sidewalks are in good condition. Tell the lot attendant that you need a modified tour. A tour guide will give you a personal tour. Because of steps some backtracking is necessary and the bottling area is skipped.
The parking lot is large enough for any RV but may be filled on busy days. Tour

I like tours with samples.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather have chocolate than beer! I think there might be a candy factory around here somewhere. :-D
