Zoo Miami
The zoo is very handicapped accessible. Most of the animals are easily viewed and the informative signs are close enough to the paved paths to be read without a problem. There are a few ramped walkways which are necessary to view some of the exhibits
The parking lot is large enough for any size of RV parked across the spaces.
Inside the park there are several options besides rolling on the walkways. There’s a tram tour that has a ramp into one of the cars but no room to turn around in the car so wheelchair passengers ride sideways. There’s also a monorail with handicapped accessible cars. The ramps to the stops are long but ADA compliant. Wheelchairs and scooters are available. There’s an additional charge for any of these options.
We really enjoyed the tropical bird exhibit. Zoo Miami
