Red Wind Casino

IMG_5466

Hope everyone had a good 4th of July!  We decided to spend the 4th dry camping in the casino parking lot to avoid the holiday traffic and crowds. On Monday morning we noticed that the parking lot entrances were roped off – uh oh, would we have to move?  Nope, we were actually in a great spot to watch the fireworks that were set off from the top of the parking garage directly across the street from the parking lot. :-)

RV parking is in a large gravel lot.  We had to sign in with security to stay over the holiday but I don’t know if that’s always required.

Park close to the street to avoid a long push through the loose gravel. The sidewalks and curb cuts are in good condition. The chairs are fairly easy to move. The card and money slots are easy to reach.  Casino   47.00209, -122.66959

  1. Lucky you got premium location, ready for the fireworks! That's another benefit of having an RV.
Hope you got lucky with the casinos too!

    1. Yes, that is a real benefit We always get to events early to get a good spot. This one was a surprise though!

We're never very lucky but we don't gamble much so we just consider it an entertainment cost. :-D Plus the lots are usually very quiet at night so they're great for free overnighting.

    1. You're right! We're all going to Vancouver Island for a few days.
One of the best perks of RVing is that you get to see everyone on a regular basis. Sounds like you're having a good time visiting your family too!
