Des chutes Historical Museum

Bend was a small logging community until 1916  The museum is housed in a 1910 schoolhouse, one of the oldest buildings in town, which was built in  anticipation of a population boom with the arrival of two large logging companies from the  mid-west. The displays include articles donated by local families and business and cover the early history of the town.

The museum is accessible with an elevator to the second floor.

The parking lot is large enough for RVs
