Springdale Campground-Pike NF

001
This is a very small, little used campground with just a few spaces that are large and level enough for RVs. Twenty five to thirty feet is about the limit for size. The directions on the national forest webpage are a little confusing so from US 24 in Woodland Park, Colorado, drive north on Baldwin Street which becomes Rampart Range. Turn right on Loy Creek Road then right at the next intersection to join Rampart Range again. The road is in good condition, either asphalt or something that resembles chip seal, until the last eight tenths of a mile which is very washboarded.

None of the campsites are marked as accessible but some are usable. The tables have a small overhang.  Campground

  1. Thanks for taking the time to share your travels. We are just beginning the work to get our old motorhome ready to travel. We need to make it accessible for our 13 year old sin who has a nonprogressive form of md. He is also vent dependent. I have not found much info out there for handicap travel so thank you for writing. I will be following you. Nora in michigan. By the way if you ever are in sw mi you can boondock in our yard. Nora
